We folk here at Shomi saw that the world desperately needed a new, versatile and easy way to link printed material to the online world. Not only that, we realised that there wasn’t a way to do this from within the body of printed text such as a newspaper article or or a can of baked beans.
Upon hearing this cry for help, we developed the Shomi Code and app, putting an end to this needless suffering. We are generous like that, we’re just those kind of people. You’re welcome.
Shomi is the new kid on the block with one goal, to offer the simplest link between the real world and the digital with the best tools. We want to create a platform that is so simple to use that anyone can use it and use it anywhere. We think QR codes are great for tracking parts or packages but not for using in print which is why we have we have based our patent pending technology on a font. We think Shomi is going to start popping up in places a scannable code has never been used before so keep an eye out.
